Tips to Help You Choose a Web Hosting Provider

Many people want a website but don’t know where to start. In this post we explain what a web hosting provider is and give you some ideas to determine whether you need your own web site at all.  We provide some free options that are available so you don’t have to pay for a web site if you don’t need one.

If you need your own domain name then we give you some ideas on which providers may be right for you.

Be careful of the billings plans with some hosting providers. Not all providers will offer you a month to month plan. Some may require you to pay an entire year in advance. Some also may have set up fee’s or other costs that you may not expect.

Either way, web hosting is very little expense when considering setting up your own web site or starting your own internet business.

For domains, we like Godaddy as a registrar. There are a lot of coupon code out there for Godaddy that will bring the price of domain registration down to about $7 dollars. One of the best place I’ve found for domain names is http://www.domaincheapsters.com/. There are affiliated with Godaddy and will give you the cheapest domain prices. One other place that has good prices on domain names is NameCheap.com.
